Darren Griffith graduated with a BSc in Chemistry from University College Dublin in 2000 and completed a PhD in 2004 in Medicinal Inorganic Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). He was a post-doctoral research fellow in Dublin City University (2004-2005) and RCSI (2006-2010) and is currently a Senior Lecturer in Chemistry at RCSI. Darren joined the SSPC, The Science Foundation Ireland Research Centre for Pharmaceuticals, community as a Funded Investigator in the in 2019. Research interests are focused on the development of metal-based drug hybrids with applications in delivery and reporting processes.
