Our research focus on the mechanistic enzymology of nitrogenase and nitrogenase-like proteins in addition to our long-standing interest in genomic instability. We use structural biology, pre-steady state kinetics, and single molecule fluorescence tools to investigate how allosteric motions in proteins enact substrate specificity.
