- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Dr. Shingo Nagano is a professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology at Tottori University, Japan. He earned his Ph.D. in chemistry from Kyoto University in 1996 and conducted postdoctoral research at Keio University and the University of California, Irvine, focusing on cytochrome P450 crystallography. He later worked at the RIKEN SPring-8 Center before joining Tottori University in 2009.
His research explores the structure-function relationships of enzymes involved in natural product biosynthesis and biocatalysis, including cytochrome P450s and Diels-Alderases.
Dr. Nagano actively engages in academic leadership, serving as co-chair of the 2023 International Joint Meeting on cytochrome P450 and xenobiotics. His work advances enzyme research and structural biology on an international scale.
