Anna Ślusarczyk, PhD candidate at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Wroclaw. I am conducting my research under the supervision of Dr. Joanna Watly in the Biologically Active Metallopeptides Research Group. My doctoral work focuses on the synthesis and characterization of biologically active peptides and their mimetics found in human saliva, with a particular emphasis on their interactions with divalent metal ions, enzymatic stability, and potential antimicrobial properties.
