- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
I am nearing the end of my third year at the University of Chicago, where I study under Prof. John Anderson. My Ph.D. research is on the synthesis and reactivity of cobalt-oxo complexes, with a focus on oxidatively robust ligand design. My research interests lie in the chemistry of complexes containing metal-element multiple bonds, manipulation of their ligand environments to effect electronic and reactivity properties, and ultimately their applicability and translation to the context of small molecule activation.
