Rebecca Donegan’s research lab is interested in understanding how the nontuberculous mycobacteria maintain heme homeostasis and incorporate exogenous heme into their metabolism. Rebecca started her lab at Barnard College in 2021. Before joining Barnard, she received her Ph.D. in Raquel Lieberman’s lab at Georgia Tech and was a postdoc in Amit Reddi’s lab.
