Tim Johnstone is an associate professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of California, Santa Cruz. His research focuses on both uncovering new fundamental main-group structure and bonding, as well as exploiting the unique reactivity of inorganic compounds to address problems related to human health.
